Stefano Nativi

Dr Stefano Nativi coordinates the WP2 (Chaining and discovery services under uncertainty) of UncertWeb. He works in the Earth and Space Sciences Informatics (ESSI) cross-disciplinary area. He has particular interests in multi-disciplinary interoperability, Geospatial Information standard specifications, geospatial resources discovery and chaining and environmental models interoperability. He is in charge of enhancing the present geospatial information services to support uncertainty and calculate error propagation in their chaining. He co-lead the GEOSS “Model Web” initiative whose principles contributed to inspire the project.

Lorenzo Bigagli

Lorenzo Bigagli is a researcher at the National Research Council of Italy. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Methods and Technologies for Environmental Monitoring at the University of Basilicata, Italy, and a M.Sc. in Software Engineering at the University of Florence, Italy. His current research focuses on catalog services, service composition and the Sensor Web. He is mainly involved in work package 2.

Paolo Mazzetti

Paolo Mazzetti is a researcher at the Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (IMAA) of the CNR. He teaches Telematics at the University of Florence at Prato for the degree in Information Engineering. He has worked for more than ten years in the field of Earth and Space Science Informatics. His main research activities concern the study and design of advanced infrastructures supporting geospatial data sharing and processing for Earth Science and multidisciplinary applications.
